In a pure act of defamation, it was claimed that the United Nations had alleged that Eritrea sent some 2,000 troops into Somalia.

It is common knowledge that such defamation has been a repeated campaign. 

This campaign and continuous lie is a fabrication of the US Administration and not that of the United Nations. The UN is just employed as a cover. 

Repeated lies may appear true to its perpetrator. However, it is a matter of common sense that the truth behind this campaign is to cover up the US government’s plans and the war it is carrying out in Somalia and the Horn of Africa in general through its agent,...

 The peace deal signed by Khartoum and eastern rebels earlier this month has lifted spirits in Kassala, a city in the impoverished east of Sudan which hopes to see trade prosper again after years of fighting. Oct 5, 2006 (ADDIS ABABA) ? Five people were killed and many wounded in religious riots in western Ethiopia this week when Christians and Muslims clashed after a seasonal Orthodox festival, officials said Wednesday.

In addition to the casualties, two Christian churches were set ablaze and some 100 people forced to flee during the unrest that flared up Sunday near the town of Jimma, about 490 kilometers (305 miles) west of Addis Ababa, they said.
