graduate from Asmara Technical School

Asmara, 8 November 2008 - A total
of 591 students, including 263 females,
graduated today from Asmara Technical School
upon completion of a one-year course in
different fields.
Speaking at the graduation ceremony at Cinema
Odeon, the director of the school, Mr. Abrahalei
Sium, pointed out that the students who were
enrolled from the Warsay-Yikaalo School in Sawa
followed a course in metal works, mechanics,
woodworks, building construction, electricity,
drafting and electronics, among others.
Hagaz, 7 November 2008 - A total of 307
students, out of whom 97 are females, graduated
yesterday from the Hagaz School of Agricultural
Technique upon completion of a year-long course
in different fields.
The director of the school, Brother
Woldehawariat Haile, indicated that the students
who were enrolled from the Warsay-Yikaalo School
in Sawa pursued courses in Agro-Mechanics,
Animal Science, Plant Science and soil and water
conservation.

Mai-Habar, 3 November 2008 - Mai-Habar Technical
School graduated a total of 473 students who
followed a year-long certificate course in
different fields.
Speaking at the graduation ceremony held at the
Expo Hall here in the capital, Mr. Tesfai Sium,
director general of technical and vocational
training in the Ministry of Education, stated
that the Government is giving top priority to
the development of education in the conviction
that skilled manpower is the cornerstone of
economic development.

the host of Sunday evening radio program of Radio Voice
of Eritrea at CKDU, Halifax, Canada, offered to share
his air time with the Eritrean youth in Diaspora. The
announcement was made during
last
Sunday's evening broadcast.
Naz facilitated the panel discussion with four
members of the upcoming Eritrean youth, an
Eritrean-American and three Eritrean-Canadians.
