Eritrea to expel the members of a Darfur rebel group from its
territories. He further said that he rejects any Eritrean role in

Sept 25, 2006 (ASMARA) – Eritrea has denied
vigorously Sudanese president accusations of backing Darfur rebels.
As press statement described Bashir’s statement as “baseless and
unproductive”.

Sept. 24 (SUNA)-
President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al Bashir, has
restricted the movement of all the Americans in Sudan at a
geographical limit of 25 kilometers, as from the Republican Palace
in Khartoum.
At a press conference he held Sunday evening at the Friendship Hall,
President Al-Bashir
said that the decision comes as an act of equal treatment to that
made to him and the accompanying delegation during their recent
visit to New York to participate at meetings of the Peace and
Security Council.
A member of the Mission who was apprehended while illegally
smuggling 8 Eritrean youths from Asmara to Adigrat on August 28
admitted to the Eritrean Police that other UNMEE members are engaged
in similar illegalactivities.

of Islamic militiamen in heavily armed trucks took over the southern
town of Kismayo, one of the last seaports that had been outside their
control in Somalia, witnesses said Sunday.

war resulted in allocating the post of the first vice of Sudan
to the SPLM in the person of its leader Salva Kiir Mayardit.
It is excepted that resolutions would be issued
to lift the state of emergency in the east and open the borders
with Asmara a move indicating that a progress at the Asmara
talks was made. The parties to the talks have reached an
agreement on the security arrangements file along with mutual
understanding on the power and wealth sharing issues....

colonel) to the Oromo Liberation Front (OLF). A similar
