Meskerem offers self-serve posting of news, editorials and announcements to political organizations, political parties, human rights organizations, civil societies, and social organizations.


    It gives us great pleasure to share with you that we have tested the above system and it works fine. It has been given a go-ahead from the provider.

What is the self-serve posting system?

The self-serve posting system is an independent posting mechanism whereby news, editorials, announcements and invitations are posted directly for public view by authors of such materials. It is similar to Bayto meskerem except this format has been created to accept only such materials from those who have been approved by meskerem.  Meskerem has the resource to validate information on the registration forms.. eg emails. That is,  whether the prospective registrants are indeed the organizations or institutions they claim to be. Meskerem guarantees the privacy of those who register and participate.

Why?

To create an expeditious and timely posting of information.
Materials for posting don't need meskerem's input. Authors don't have to wait for meskerem to receive, read and post emailed messages.
Instead of emailing the material to meskerem the authors can post it directly at any time 24/7 and from any part of the world.
To respond to public  complaints about late postings and complaints of alleged selective postings.

Who will participate in this new posting system?

For now, the format will only accommodate the following:

- Human Rights Organizations
- Civic Organizations
- Social and Religious Organizations
- Meskerem, as needed, under the user name "editor".

Is the public allowed to post or give comments on the posted material?

For now, no. But the public is welcome to take the issues to Bayto meskerem.

Where in meskerem will the above be placed/posted?

Once we clear whatever bugs that might appear, it will be placed in one of the top spots.

Step 2  Registration

Fill in the blanks .

Make sure when you register to put the official name of your organization.
When posted it will show/reflect that the item posted was posted by your organization.  Meskerem will make sure that the username indeed belongs to the concerned registered organization.

Step 3. Email meskerem that you have registered.

Step 4. Meskerem validates the information, approves the user name and you will be good to go.
