Stockholm's Peace Rally Report
The Eritrean – Swedish community comprising Eritrean political parties,
civic socities with the cooperation of Association for Eritrean Asylum
Seekers in Sweden (AEASS) went out to the Eritrean embassy’s office to
show their anger and
Mr. Idris., committee member of the Association for Eritrean Asylum seekers in Sweden, read the slogans of the demonstration one by one loudly and good mannerly for the participants. Mr. Ibrahim Abdallah ELF representative in Stockholm has delivered a speech in Swedish language about the shooting and killing of innocent youngsters at the Adi Abieto prison camp, and he stressed and condemned the round up of civilians and detention followed by killings in Eritrea. Mr. Sabah Salah member of the Eritrean Federal Democratic movement has read the Arabic version of the protest and condemnation letter.

read the And Mr. Hamid Abdallah, representative of the Eritrean National Alliance has read the condemnation letter in Swedish language. When the time of submitting the letter of condemnation to the Embassy was ready, the police told the demonstrators that the Embassy refused to accept it. The police told the leaders of the rally to send the protest letter by post to the Eritrean President. The demonstrators already know that the embassy will not accept it and thanked the police for their cooperation. A Swedish local newspaper reporter( Lidingِ local tidning) was present at the demonstration and was briefed about the human rights violations in Eritrea. The reporter told the organizers that he will write in the local news paper about the human rights situation in Eritrea. Mr. Mehari Abraham , reporter of the TV Zete in Stockholm has taken the pictures of the rally and he will report it on the TV reportage, Open Channel, on Sunday 21nd November at 14.30 local time.
Mr. Eyob Bisrat, member and information and cultural secretary of the ELF National Congress (ELF -NC) has taken the pictorial views of the rally by digital camera later to be published in the Eritrean websites. Finally, the organizing committee thanked all who have participated in this memorial ceremony for those who were killed in Adi Abieto and the liberation martyrs who lost their lives for peace, democracy, human rights respect and the rule of law that are absent today in Eritrea.
